The Best Baby We Ever Saw

Merry Christmas to all! 

Today’s Faith Friday is brief and celebratory. I hope you all had time to worship and sit in peaceful silence at church this week...to give thanks with praise and glory for God’s beautiful gift of love to our world, Jesus...the babe, the son of Mary.

We are in the Christmas season, and celebrating is our theme. In this fashion, I want to share a video again. A friend shared this video with me nearly a decade ago, and I have shared it many times since. It’s such a good one to focus on the story of Christmas, out of the mouth of babes. I encourage you to take 3 minutes to (re-)watch until the very end when Jesus is declared “the best baby I ever seen.”

Indeed, Jesus truly is the best baby the world has ever seen. Just as Mary said yes and brought Christ to birth, may we also allow Christ to grow within us...and celebrate!
